This item is an 8" X 10",black and white photo of the original cast of the "Flash Gordon" serial.Flash Gordon is a 1936 serial film which tells the story of three people from Earth who travel to the planet Mongo to fight the evil Emperor Ming the Merciless. Buster Crabbe, Jean Rogers, Charles B. Middleton, Priscilla Lawson,Carol Hughes and Frank Shannon played the central roles. In 1996, Flash Gordon was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".The photo has been autographed on the front by Buster Crabbe,Charles B.
